Our "Hole Sweet Hole"

Well here she is our 11 foot hole in the ground..................not such great weather to have an 11 foot hole in the ground........................I say lets just make a great big pool!!!! And the mud man it is great you should have seen me after I ran around out there today. Can you say Messy!! (I can) Well, probably no updates tomorrow we aren't planning on going out because mommy has appoinments with the cabinet lady! Daddy still hasn't got a call to go to work in all this weather but we know our days are numbered so we are enjoying him while we can. Talk to ya again soon

The Big Reveal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All Its me Tucker and I am soooooo excited to announce that there is an enormous hole I own at 706 Justin Drive in Heyworth, IL (5 minutes outside of Bloomington) Thats right my big surprise is that I am building a new home and I spent the day watching all these big trucks and excavators dig the basement. I even got to ride on a big dump truck to haul away dirt...........man was that fun! The hole is really deep about 11 feet you have to put a ladder down it to get in and out I have never seen such big piles of dirt and mom and dad even let me climb them this afternoon I must say I can get pretty high! Here are some pictures. They should finishing digging either tomorrow or Monday and then they will pour the footings and the walls of the basement if the weather stays good, Joe (the builder and my new hero man is he cool!) says we will be framing in a week and a half!

I can't wait for everyone to come visit and play with me here our lot is up on a hill and at the end of this cul de sac we also have woods in our back yard and the construction guys said when they got there this morning there were 7 deer in our yard!! Won't that be cool to wake up and see in the morning! Hope to update soon with a picture of the actual hole mommys camera ran out of juice by the afternoon and we didn't get it today. Texas Pics

Here's some pics from our Texas trip. We had so much fun with our cousins. I just loved my big cousins Graham and Adison they took really good care of me while I visited. I also loved the puppies they had and can't stop talking about them. Jaycie Claire loved the pool there is a picture of her and Graham in the water. I also got to take a ride in a boat with my cousin Tyler. I didn't say much at the time but I am really proud of the picture! We can't wait to go back----but mom says we need to give the Chapmans a little break after having busy little me around for 4 days! Maybe next summer! Back From the Big "D" & I'm a Keeper!!!!!!!

Well I'm adopted and an official Coon----YEAH!!!! Here are some pics from the big day. There is one of the family being sworn in, Me and my lawyer Dave, and me and mommy with Clay and his dad he was adopted that day too. I was the only girl along with 5 other little boys to become official! We had so much fun in Texas more pics of our trip will follow. I'm so glad its all over and I will be with mommy and daddy and my big brother forever!!!

Hapy 1st Birthday Isabel Bowers!

We had a really fun weekend and I went to my first birthday party. My good friend Isabel turned 1! Wow she sure is a big girl! We had a lot of fun together at her party and she really liked her cake I can't wait to get one in 6 months too. Isabel is mommy and daddy's God daughter for those of you who are wondering. Well anyway as you can see in the last photo a girl can only handle so much partying and then you gotta crash and sometimes its not in the most comfortable places:)!!!

Heres a couple more pictures of us from yesterday--- I surprised mommy and the bear again 2 times today by pulling up on the couch and standing by them while they watched the backyardigans. I just smiled real big, so proud of myself, and tried to grab the remote, I wanted to watch the price is right-- who knows maybe next week I'll take a few steps you just watch me----look out world here I come!

Where Do We Begin?

Well, first of all our apologies for our Mommy not updating in about a week she just finally found the little grey cord that uploads her pictures to the computer and we have been dying to let you all know what we have been up too.
#1) Jaycie Turned 5 months old and about a day later she started crawling and sitting up and playing by herself. Poor mommy she thought she might have a few more months before this happened again but, theres no stopping Jaycie Claire. It all actually started happening the day after aunt Peg and uncle Reg kept her over night and practiced, practiced, practiced with her. Now she really motors and follows me everywhere I go! AHHHHH! She likes to push my tractors right along behind me I hope this doesn't mean I will have to play dolls with her.

Even our pediatrician Dr. Boe has asked mommy several times if we are sure we have her birthdate right because he can't believe the tricks she does in his office, he even brings other nurses in to see it.

#2) Is also a new Jaycie trick yesterday mommy and I looked over and she was standing up looking into our toy box. Apparently she pulled herself up to get a toy to play with I thought mommy was going to faint and when we called daddy I though he would too. Personally I always knew she had it in her she's our "Super Baby"!

#3) Ok enough is enough I can't let my little sister out do me by to0 much. So I decided to learn how to use the big potty all on my own!!! Thats right, I only where a diaper at night and on long trips now because I go number one and two in the big boy potty. It only took about one or two tries and I got it. Daddy is so excited to get home this weekend and see me go.......... it will be a real party in the Coon bathroom this weekend! Grandpa Charlie says I will be farming with him for sure now that he doesn't have to change my diaper.

Well, as you can see never a dull moment at our house Daddy says Mommy should get the mom of the century award for everything she does, Mommy just said an anniversary trip to Punta Cana in October would be nice (he agreed of course and is taking her!) Guess we're not going this time oh well, staying at grandma and grandpa's is just as fun. Wanted to also pass along that great grandma is doing fantastic she is walking and moving her fingers on her left hand! She should be going to her own place in assisted living some time soon. We are so proud of her and visit her all the time she can even hold Jaycie on her lap again and I sit on her lap with her all the time. Another update for the family is our cousin Abby started walking last week and said her first word "Jake" which is a little boy aunt Crystal watches. She is so cute and proud of herself when she makes it from one place to another. Mommy and aunt crystal took the girls on there first shopping trip to the mall together over the weekend and I thought maybe they got lost they were gone so long. They just said they had lots of shopping training to get in with the girls. I think they had a really good "girly time" man am I glad I didn't have to attend! They didn't buy the stores out but they said this was just a fall wardrobe "scouting trip"...........Oh Brother! Look for a boost in the area's economy in the coming months!

OK that about sums it up, just excited to get daddy home this weekend and visit everyone who comes to see him. We are also heading out to the fair with friends one of daddy's favorite things to do.

Check Out Our Whale Pool

Hi from Coonerville! Us kids got a cool new pool and put it to the Coon Kid test today! We had so much fun. Now that Jaycie Claire is sitting up (sort of) she could have a good time too. I personally love the spray spout but I had to shut it off when Jaycie was in with me she didn't like it so much. Not much else happening here we got lots of yard work done and lots more house cleaning to go we've almost caught up on all our laundry(amazing!) Well stay cool and have a good rest of the weekend!

The Big 5 MO.

Hi everybody its me Jaycie Claire just wanted to send a picture of me from this week and tell you what I'm up to since I celebrated the "Big 5 Mo" on the 15th. Well, lets see, I'm still not quite crawling but up on all fours rocking all the time and getting wherever I need to go (even where I'm not supposed too!) I am sitting up on my own pretty well now too, just need the boppy for those times when I get a little excited about things and forget to balance. I can also hold my bottle and feed myself with no ones help even though Tucker still likes to feed me sometimes. The last new thing I am trying to do is get into a sitting position from all fours, I still need some work here but I'll get it don't you worry. I amaze people every day, I guess I must be ahead with what I am able to do but, its no big deal to me and I can't wait to do more (like get my brother back when he drives me crazy!!!) I Found the Chief!

Hi everyone, sorry again about not updating as often right now we have been here, there, and everywhere the last few weeks, spending most of the time at Gma and Gpa Shireman's while our great Grandma recovers from her stroke. We have also seen lots and lots of Daddy so that has been fun. On one of our trips with Dad I saw one of my favorite people in the world enjoying his summer, you guessed it, Chief Illiniwek was on vacation in St Charles, Mo. This is a picture of him and I here. Daddy and I had a long chat with him and he assures us we are going to kick some big 10 butt this season. Jaycie Claire can't wait because this will be her first season. He assures everyone that he has been in the midwest most of the summer scouting our rivals and they are going to be no competition, as usual. So glad to see you Chief we really miss you over our summer months but take it easy and get rested up November will be here before we know it and Daddy has an awesome new t.v. to watch the games on that we can't attend!

Real Live Doll!!!!

Well many of you have made the comment that I look like a real live cabbage patch doll. Well, little do many of you know that mommy thinks so too but not just any Cabbage Patch, her first cabbage patch, Glennis, that she got in 3rd grade!! Isn't it ironic that mommy's first little girl would look so much like her first favorite doll she has kept all these years! Mommy remembers picking Glennis out at Jacks store in Jacksonville and she took her everywhere with her even to school sometimes! We just can't believe all the little things in our lives that make us know us kids were meant to be here!

Tucker Took Me on a Stroller Ride

My big brother loves me so much he took me on a stroller ride all over our future basketball court today! He was so proud to help mommy out by entertaining me this afternoon! We had a good time.---Jaycie Claire

Its here ....The New Fence

All we have to say is Look at all our room!!!!! The new fence has been moved and we love having all the room to play. Soon we will have a basketball hoop and our own court to play on. Tucker has been riding his trike all afternoon on the driveway. Daddy what do you think? Can't wait for you to see the change in person but we'll see you in St louis in 2 days!

Still here

Tucker and Ben

Hi everybody we are still here it has been a rough week Our Great Grandma P. had a stroke and we have spent lots of time in the hospital and with family. Great grandma is doing really good we are so happy about that. Some quick updates are: any day now we will be reporting that Jaycie Claire is crawling she is up on all fours all the time and really rocking! She got lots of training in when she spent the night with Aunt Peg uncle reg and Ben and all his friends. Also our fence is done finally and we love it we have loads more room to play, and finally we are going to see Daddy in St Louis over the weekend and we can't wait. We always have so much fun down there. Well hope to get back into the swing of things again now that grandma is doing better so check back often for pics and updates.
