Gearing up for school

Well we'e down to the final days of summer in the coon household Tucker goes in for a meeting with his teacher and to take in his supplies next Wednesday and starts school the following Tuesday. He will go afternoons everyday at Heyworth Elementary. He is so excited he loves school and especially his daily bus ride. Its funny to ride around town with him he knows who lives everywhere after his year of bus riding. He should be the official Heyworth tour guide!
What you see in the picture is a great big school supply, thats right the Coonkids have their own computer and they loooooove it. They have a couple of preschool games they play all the time but, really love visiting noggin.com everyday. Tucker has been using computers in school everyday for the past year and boy can you tell its amazing what he can do on them and the great hand eye mouse control he has.
I am starting Jaycie on it already for just those reasons the computer is like the pencil in schools these days! She can get her carebears balloon numbers game going now all by herself from the desktop. When she wakes up the first thing she asks to do is play her "oomputer" The coonkids also got a webcam and loooooove talking to grandma pam and actually seeing her they would love to have more people to call. If you have a web cam and want to call us download www.skype.com for free and call us for free on the computer. Our i.d. is currently amy coon 1 but, they will soon have their own i.d. which will be Coonkids I',m hoping we'll keep you up to date on that.
Daddy will be home over the weekend and he is getting mommy's old laptop, thats right she now has a pink laptop, back with him so we will go out and get him a webcam for that computer to that way he and the kids can see each other everyday! Well hope you are finding things to do with this rainy IL weather we are its called "computer nerding"

Daddy's Home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This will be real short and sweet as we are running around trying to get a lot done before daddy heads back to TX but, here are the weeks highlights---------THe jeep was a huge hit daddy was sooooooo surprised and loves his new toy! Uncle Jim turned the big 5 0 on Wednesday and mommy and daddy went out with him to celebrate while g'ma Debbie spent the night with us. The last one is of Jaycie Claire and her new big girl saying " it's just water--its no big deal" We have had issues with being scared of the rain but, now she just says that over and over the entire time its raining you can even hear her telling her animals and babies that when she is in the crib! Its so cute. Tucker finished his second week of summer school one more left and its back to the real deal. We had a great flamingo fridays last night with the neighbors complete with the street blocked off and a liveband!!! Lots of dancing and fun! Well we're off again catchup with more news and pics later.

The Playhouse and Pearly Whites

Well we finally got the playhouse moved outside for the summer here is some pics of Jaycie Claire looking out her kitchen window. The next are from Tucker's trip to the dentist for the first time. And the results were no cavities! Yeah! He did so good and hasn't stopped talking about the experience and all the cool tools the dentist has. Tonight was Tucker's first night of bible school he had a lot of fun with his friends who are also in the class. Tomorrow Tucker goes to his first week of summer school as well so he should be a pretty busy guy for the next week. Jaycie Claire just returned from a 5 day trip to G maandpa Coon's and had a wonderful time she is completely worn out and spoiled rotten! I will have to spend the week reprogramming her! Daddy is doing good in Dallas minus the triple digit weather and we will see him for a long weekend after the 4th! Well that about sums it up for now til next time------T.&J.C.

The Coonkids are Swimmin' Fools

That's right just try to keep us out of the water!!! We have been here 10 days and only missed one day in the pool due to a stupid tornado warning mom said we had to go in for. Tucker gets in and plays on the steps alot but, his real calling is official pool maintenance man! He cannot believe all the gizmos and gadgets that goes with grandma's pool. Jaycie Claire however, is a fish we swear she jumps in off the side and kicks like a little motor boat! We're livin the lap of luxury all by ourselves out here in the pool in the middle of a cornfield stop by and swim with us if your in the neighborhood!!! Peace and tons of sunscreen --- The Coonkids

Officially Summer!!!!!!!

Tucker's mother's day gift
Tucker and his best friend Tate on a school field trip (eddy haskel has nothing on these 2)
Enjoying our huge suckers in the tub (Mommy only lets us eat them there, I wonder why?)

Well its official as of 3:30pm today when Tucker walked of the bus the Coonkid's summer of 2008 started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are on our way to the farm and the new pool for some much needed R&R. We have been up to a lot trying to wrap up school, get the yard ready for the summer, and our weekend with daddy home. Our basement is progressing right along and mommy can't wait to turn the now guest room into her office and craft studio. The house going up next door hasn't progressed much still a big hole. Jaycie Claire is talking up a storm Tucker doesn't get away with much anymore without her telling on him. Here are some recent pics to share Mommy got a new lense for her camera so we are constantly being harassed by the poparatzy (sorry I have no idea how to SP and don't feel like looking it up) Daddy is still working hard in Dallas we have a big weekend planned with him for the fourth of July!!!!!!!!!! Tucker will be doing summer school and bible school this summer. Jaycie Claire will probably start back up with her gymnastics as well. Some upcoming events are Tuckers first dentist visit and Hannah Banana's wedding. Hope to see all of you over the summer and make some fun memories together but, if we don't enjoy it and keep up with us on the blog!!!
Luv T. & J.C.

Tucker wanted to share New View out his window

Well our neighbors started digging and Tucker is so excited to have the best seat in the house. Some of our other neighbors came over tonight to look at the big hole and mountains of dirt can you see them? Isn't it odd that the Coons live next door to the Deers?? Also another fun fact is the family building is another State Farm Nat. Cat. family like us. They have a 7 and 10year old so the kids are excited. The last one is from our front door of the deer family heading home, The kids see deer almost everyday so when they are out there they are about as excited as if they saw the neighbors cat! They are going to grow up having no idea what a rare thing their neighbors are!

CHEESE!!!!

Hi Daddy this pictures for you I love you J.C.

PS I love my Chocolate!

IT REALLY IS THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!!!!!!!!!!

Pooh bear was enormous and hugged us both
This was made completely out of flowers like the rose bowl floats we have pictures of other characters too

AHHHH Disney ---the time of our lives!!!----There will be tons of these pics in blogs to come because mom took exactly 490 photos while we were there and we had soooo many awesome experiences to tell about. We'll start with pictures from our first morning where we ate breakfast with Pooh, tigger, eeyore, and Piglet ---we absolutely could not believe it when they each came to our table and hugged and played with us! We even got Tiger to bounce when no one was looking and then they had a parade around our table the restaurant was so pretty it was a Crystal palace made all of glass! Be sure to check in soon we have so much more to tell!!! Just trying to catch some zzzzz's right now ----our poor grandmas' they are completely pooped from all the adventures we had as well but, OH WHAT FUN!!! Right now J.C.can't stop talking about her princesses she met and how Alice in Wonderland tickled her and left a kiss on her cheek and Tucker can't stop driving us around in his pretend monorail that goes super fast he says.

COLORING OUR EASTER EGGS

We are real excited for the Easter Bunny's arrival this year! We made him some eggs with cousin Abby over the weekend. We are also busy packing because the day after the Bunny comes we head to Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!! We can't wait Mommy has so many things planned for us to meet our favorite characters from our Disney movies and Disney channel shows just a few are breakfast with Pooh and friends, Handy Manny, little einsteins and Jo Jo lunch! and so many more! Yes we have supper with the MOuse one night as well. Jaycie Claire is planning to dress in "theme outfits" for most of the trip so we will be sure to put photos up of that.
Whoever said we were to young for disney are sadly mistaken we think, as all our days are full of things we consider to be the best things on earth at 2 & 4, we may not remember much but, in a year or 2 would have outgrown all the cool CHaracter stuff they have to offer for us, the joy it will give mom dad and g'mas to see us will be priceless, and we are young enough to truly believe in the "MAjic"! You need to go a few times through your childhood we have decided to enjoy each stage! Mommy says she wishes she would have started taking Tucker at 2 as he is on the edge of the playhouse Disney stuff not being age appropriate.
Tucker wants to report he is doing very well on his Disney star chart for good behavior this week so he can get some special treats while we are there!! Wish him good luck with that some days are rather challenging when your four but, ooooh Disney is such a good motivator!!! Ta ta for now----T. & J.C.
